I am afraid to say that we have reached the inevitable stage of having to suspend working at Faye Pattison Physiotherapy in order to protect our community.
The clinic is exposed to a huge footfall of patients daily and therefore given the turbulent times ahead of us due to the rapid spread of Covid-19, it is not going to be a safe environment for patients to visit.
This is not only in place to protect patients but also to protect patient’s families, along with my therapists and their families.
I have thought long and hard about attempting to offer some form of remote service, however we are a hands-on practising clinic and as such, do not believe that we can achieve anywhere near good enough results “over the phone”. Therefore, my professional opinion is that working remotely will not provide our patients with adequate chances of recovery from an injury.
I also deeply believe that my medical skills would be in everyone’s best interest if I were to donate them to helping our NHS staff, so I will look to be offering my services to the NHS from next week onwards.
I would like to thank you all for your understanding during this period and I hope that you return to Faye Pattison Physiotherapy after things normalise. In the meantime, please adhere to the government guidelines, keep safe and healthy.
Wishing you all my very best
